How to Access Government Funding For Your Organisation’s Accredited Training Webinar
The Skills Connect Fund has been made available, providing $45 million contribution to Australian companies in training their employees towards nationally recognized qualifications that meet their business needs. Qualifications from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma, support services (e.g. mentoring) and language/literacy/numeracy support can be funded. Depending on the number of employees, co-contribution from Government can be up to 67% of the training costs. Funding is available to single enterprises or a partnership between two or more enterprises, and industry lead organizations. The key document to the fund application is the Workforce Development Plan, which Safety Dimensions or Leadership Dimensions can assist you with. The Industry Skills Councils are also going to work with you to ensure your application is successful (i.e. not rejected). Applications are now encouraged, before the funding allocation for this financial year runs out.
