Did you know funding is available at both Australian State and Federal government levels for staff development via accredited training? Although many organisations are keen to apply and reap the benefits of an up-skilled workforce, it can be a challenge to understand what’s available, the eligibility criteria and the application process.
In this free 30 minute webinar, Junny Ebenhaezer, Academic Program Manager and Melissa Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Learning Dimensions Network unravel the opportunities for up-skilling your new and existing workforce with the help of State and National incentives.
Who should watch this webinar?
Training and Learning Managers, HR Staff, Safety Leaders, HR managers, CEO’s.
Duration: 30 mins
The Skills Connect Fund has been made available, providing $45 million contribution to Australian companies in training their employees towards nationally recognized qualifications that meet their business needs. Qualifications from Certificate II to Advanced Diploma, support services (e.g. mentoring) and language/literacy/numeracy support can be funded. Depending on the number of employees, co-contribution from Government can be up to 67% of the training costs. Funding is available to single enterprises or a partnership between two or more enterprises, and industry lead organizations. The key document to the fund application is the Workforce Development Plan, which Safety Dimensions or Leadership Dimensions can assist you with. The Industry Skills Councils are also going to work with you to ensure your application is successful (i.e. not rejected). Applications are now encouraged, before the funding allocation for this financial year runs out.
