Learning Dimensions Network, incorporating Leadership Dimensions, Safety Dimensions and Workplace Dimensions has extensive international capability in the fields of cultural change, leadership capability development and behavioural safety.  Whilst based in Australia, we consider ourselves a company offering extensive international scope and experience.

Established 30 years ago, our international success is in ensuring programs enable ˜global consistency yet local customisation’ of program content’. Specifically this means the global organisation takes comfort in ensuring consistency of messages, objectives and learning outcomes, yet the local country takes comfort in the program being relevant for the participants so they can see the application and apply the skills in their unique situations and workplaces.

With Project Managers based in Australia and the UAE, this ensures we work with clients across all time-zones.  Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Italian, French, our Project Managers ensure we are able to communicate seamlessly and therefore ensure projects are implemented effectively.

Also, to ensure we can continue to meet client objectives internationally, our recruitment process for Senior Managers, instructional designers and Lead Consultants must include extensive international experience.  For example our CEO was recruited 10 years ago having been based in Malaysia for 3 years and our Managing Partner and CEO have both have worked globally which included extensive time in the USA, Europe and Asia for the likes of KPMG, Accenture and Unilever.

Considering we primarily work with global Western companies, particularly in the safety arena in oil, gas, mining, construction and aviation, we also work with local organisations such as Ducab (Dubai and Abu Dhabi), hence we are experienced working with local translators and having our materials translated where necessary as we understand whilst English is often the language of businesses, with many nationalities represented in a company, we also know when learning takes place people often need to undertake this training in their native tongue as well as English.

In addition, as part of our Australian registration to deliver Diploma qualifications around the globe, Safety Dimensions has to be able to be equipped to work with participants with limited ability to speak and understand English, and we are regularly audited against this criteria. Put simply, this is an area that is ˜business as usual’ for us.

At Safety Dimensions, our specialty is making the complex simple, because what is simple to understand is simple to apply. Given this is a basic underpinning design methodology; this allows our programs to be successfully used internationally where English is often not well understood and cater for different and unique cultures where customisation is required to ensure local relevance and therefore application, yet ensuring global key messages and objectives remain consistent.
