WHAT TECHNICAL SET UP DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?
The Zoom software platform is free for you to use and is available either in-browser (through Chrome, Firefox etc.), as a downloadable app for computers and devices, or can be integrated into your company intranet. We password protect all our Zoom sessions.
WHAT IF I AM NOT USED TO USING TECHNOLOGY THIS WAY?

QLD
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers in the building and construction industry.
If you are eligible CSQ will subsidise your place in this program, at no cost to you.
Who is eligible for funding in QLD?
- You work ‘on the tools’ or in a clerical, administrative or professional role within the building and construction industry listed at the bottom of this page here.
- You hold a 1 (one) month working relationship with your employer
- You are a 3rd or 4th-year Apprentice
- Unemployed? If you’ve been unemployed for up to 4 years, but were previously working ‘on the tools’ or in a clerical, administrative or professional role in the Queensland building and construction-related industries listed here, then you are eligible.
- You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, refugee or humanitarian visa holder.
- NOTE: For a subsidised place through Workplace Dimensions, you will need to be a resident of Central, Far North, Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane, Northern, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay. ACT
The ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authority (TFA) is the statutory body responsible for providing funding for the training of eligible workers in the ACT Building and Construction Industry. Workplace Dimensions has been granted funding to offer subsidised places in our Certificate IV program to eligible workers in the ACT building and construction industry.
The TFA will subsidise this program by $1200, making your cost $645 if you are eligible for the subsidy.
Funding subsidies are available in QLD and ACT
Working in building and construction in QLD or ACT?
Subsidies for this program are available for both individuals and organisations.
